We forged this blade using high-carbon SAE 1095 steel, known for its exceptional edge retention and ease of sharpening. Furthermore, the blade features a brilliant mirror-polished finish that emphasizes the clean lines of the drop point profile. Materials: Native Guayubira Wood
The handle of the Shark Drop Point is crafted from Guayubira (Patagonula Americana). We selected this native timber for its striking marbled grain and its natural resistance to impacts and moisture. Additionally, the ergonomic shape of the handle ensures a secure grip during heavy-duty tasks. Consequently, the dark tones of the wood create a vibrant contrast with the mirror-polished steel, giving the knife a sophisticated yet rugged identity.
Balance and Field Performance
With a total length of 241 mm (9.5″), the Shark Drop Point offers a perfect balance between agility and power. The 4 mm spine thickness and 260 g weight provide the necessary solidity for hunting or field chores without being cumbersome. Moreover, each knife includes a custom cowhide leather sheath. Our artisans hand-chiseled and stitched the leather to ensure a perfect fit for the 125 mm blade.
