Description
The Concept: Kiritsuke Horizon Knife
The Kiritsuke Horizon Knife is a collector’s masterpiece. It explores the limits of artisanal metallurgy. We forged this blade using the Electro-Mai technique. It combines a SAE 1095 carbon steel core with SAE 316L stainless steel cladding. This achieves a sharp contrast and exceptional resistance.
High Jewelry Details: Bronze and Sakura
Fine jewelry meets high-performance cutlery in this piece. The bronze pommel features a Sakura flower. Our artisans chiseled this detail by hand using copper and silver. The handle uses native Algarrobo Negro. We treated the wood with the Japanese Yakisugi technique (burnt wood). This process protects the material and highlights the natural grain.
Extreme Agility and Precision
The Kiritsuke Horizon Knife offers maximum delicacy. It weighs only 136 g (0.3 lbs). The spine is just 2 mm (0.08″) thick. This makes it perfect for precise and technical cuts. It includes a custom cowhide leather sheath. We chiseled and stitched the leather by hand for a perfect fit. You can find ready-to-ship items in our Available Now Shop.
