Description
The Chef Sunburst Knife is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece designed with a stylized, narrow geometry for surgical precision. Hand-forged in Catamarca, Argentina, this blade represents the fusion of experimental metallurgy and century-old materials.
The Blade: Electro-Mai & Black Phosphate The blade features our Electro-Mai construction, integrating a high-carbon SAE 1095 core with SAE 308 stainless steel accents. The black phosphate finish provides a tactical, elegant aesthetic while acting as a protective barrier against oxidation. Check our One-of-a-Kind Pieces for more.
The Handle: Centennial Quebracho & Yakisugi The handle is crafted from Quebracho Colorado wood, reclaimed from railway sleepers with over 100 years of history. It has been treated using the ancient Japanese Yakisugi technique (surface charring), which highlights the grain and provides exceptional durability. This piece fits within our High-End Kitchen Knives.
